Yep movements are now really awkward haha... but we'll be content with that for the moment.
Did the devs disable this function because of walking speed modification?

I almost blew a blood vessel right now because i couldnt figure out why my prop speed wasnt working, i read the manual, download the main release and then each patch ever released in sequence (which is dumb i know because the latest patch has all patches in itself but i did it just to make sure lol) and so much more stuff i tried and now i read this >( grr makes me so angry, but so releived that its not me thats the problem =)

This doesn't do much at all, except make everyone extremely fast. Followed the formula and it did nothing but increase speed ridiculously on my Windows server.

Did you switch speed method too? (zr_classes_speed_method "lmv")

Normally you should get speed values around 300 after converting them. 300 is the normal running speed.

Yup, I followed the directions to the letter and it did nothing but make everyone run very fast.

looks like "lmv" crash our server very often,
i switched back to prop, and server runs stable 24 hours

i hope there will be any other solution in the future

for now better normal speeded zombies/humans
than server crashes all 2 hours

Expect the gravity and jumping i didnt had any problems with lmv. Im glad that there even is a solution, non-speedy zombies would ruin the whole game and our servers too.

Thanks for the information, surely you should get an award

I'm still wondering where you got this from? I don't see a reason why they suddenly did that. Can anyone confirm it with proof (docs, source, release notes, etc.)?

Update: I made a little test plugin and verified that the m_flMaxspeed property actually was changed and didn't reset in later events after PreThinkPost, just as before the update. However, changing it had no effect at all.

So I'm very curious about how to change speed now (and not modifying LMV).
