New sdk / beta sdk

With the overall steam update, I was wondering, what has changed in the sdk? I didn't notice if it changed the sdk any, but if not then what is changed in the beta sdk? I see they added 64 bit support to their games, how would I go about coding a 64 bit version of my mod? And does the sdk support visual studio 05 yet?

I keep the versions of the SDK under source control, so I can easily spot changes....and as far as I can tell....the following has changed.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

I can't speak for *compatibility* of the 64 Bit engine....but as far as the SDK goes its all the same.

Valve called the new beta SDK a few tool releases. The source code has not been updated in many months.

I love Valve. They're the best.

hey it isnt possible to compile for 64bit with a 32bit processor, is it!?

ehm question: the source engine is now just 64bit compatible but not real 64bit, is it?
