Once I saw your server was crashing I couldn't go to bed until I at least tried what I could

Well the stable has only been updated a few times in the past few months, the zr-dev branch is where we work on features and this one is properly updated to compile on SM 13.

Please take a look at the changelog for the zr-dev branch, I think you'll be quite pleased

P.S. At the bottom right click "-60" to see the next 60 changes. Kind of confusing, at least for me at first.

SourceMod 1.2.4,
Metamod:Source 1.7.0,
SDK Hooks 1.2 (compiled for SM 1.2),
ZR rev 584.

Not a good combination, it did not work well on our server and crashed almost on every round end event. I'll try SM 1.3 later.

On my test server with SM 1.3 and MM 1.8 it worked fine with bots. At least the quick test.

Different crash apparently, no core dumps are created and the crashes look completely random (unrelated to the zombification event).

That means your gamedata file is out of date. Update cstrike/addons/sourcemod/gamedata/plugin.zombiereloaded.txt.

A full reinstall from http://helgeby.no-ip.org/zrdev/relea...-r556-r659.zip should have updated that.


And unfortunately I don't think this will fix the problem. This is the exact same symptoms rhelgeby's server was having earlier after updating to SDKHooks 1.2.

Possible solution to random crashes:
  1. Update SourceMod to 1.3 and Metamod:Source to 1.8.
  2. Install SDK Hooks 1.2 (EP1 engine and for SM 1.3).
  3. Use ZR rev 584 or newer (in stable branch). Archive available in downloads section at google code.

Those who had random crashes, try this and tell us if it's solved.

I think ZR Tools is causing this. But ZR using SDK Hooks on the SM 1.2 branch didn't work well on our server either. After we updated Metamod and SM the server is stable again.
