Alright, so I'm trying to create a plugin which basically tags players with prefixes on their name without doing so on Steam, the code I'm using works fine in L4D2 but not on TF2 (yes I'm accounting for the 2 different message names, Cstrike_Name_Change vs TF_Name_Change)

The issue I'm running into is that in TF2 the game seems to block the instant double name change (caused by me setting their name and intercepting SayText2, this works 100% in L4D2) for a short while, about 10 seconds.
Is there any way for a SourceMod plugin to instantaneously change a player's name, if so some example code would be great.
