I've used workshop maps on my server successfully for many months, but this weekend tried to add two new ones. Both failed with the same error;

[TF Workshop] Map download failed with result 16 [ workshop/tdm_overtopolis_a5.ugc1166224621 ]

After some googling, I thought I'd try to reset the workshop content by deleting the steamapps/workshop/content/440 folder and the acf file. Now none of the workshop content works, yielding the same error above.

I've observed the map file being downloaded under the steamapps/workshop/downloads/440 directory, but it never gets past that.

Ideas?

If you have your server set up using sv_setsteamaccount, make sure Valve didn't expire you server ID. They did that to me recently.

Looks like having sv_setsteamaccount being set still has issues with installing updated / newly tracked Workshop maps.

My GSLT isn't expired.

I regenerated my token just to be sure, but the problem persists. Thanks for the experienced eyes on this!

I disabled the sv_setsteamaccount command and can now use workshop maps. Win!(?)

16 is "Timeout", pretty weird.

I got in contact with John last week; in line with the time estimate in his response, the issue appears to be properly resolved with today's round of Steam maintenance.

Might be worth marking this as solved for now.
