Let's say you installed HLDS Update Tool to C:\HLServer.
Start > Run > cmd > OK. Then type:
Code:
C:\HLServer\HldsUpdateTool.exe -command update -game cstrike -dir .
You'll need to write the location in quotes (" ") if it has any spaces in it.

Dir should be
Code:
-dir .
or
Code:
-dir C:\HLServer
I'd suggest using the first one (easier).

You will have to forward all required ports to the local ip of your server. Only then people will be able to reach your server from the internet.

Internet -> modem and router (66.238.69.147) -> HLDS (192.168.1.106)
