Hmm a server status log would be nice like showing how many players average within day the high ping and the average pings etc.

This might be best handled outside of SourceMod. Currently, everyone uses external log parsers, and it seems to work well enough. A SourceMod plugin could send the ping information to the log, or whatever other statistic is missing by default, but the actual parsing/calculating is probably best done outside the game.
