Howdy Y'all,

I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to have to map lists. I would like if no one nominates a map, for the server to throw a vote for next map based on the default maps. But if people are so inclined we can nominate a custom map.

I made a file "randomcycle.ini" and listed the stock maps.
I edited the "maplists" file to what i thought would make sense.
My "randomcycle.ini" is in fact a .ini file, not .ini.txt

also on a side note... the map vote isn't comming up unless someone nominates a map... not sure if i broke something trying to get this to work.

Code:
"target" "addons/sourcemod/configs/randomcycle.ini"
should be

Code:
"file" "addons/sourcemod/configs/randomcycle.ini"
Edit:

Likewise

Code:
"sm_votemap menu"
{
"file" "default"
}
should be

Code:
"sm_votemap menu"
{
"target" "default"
}

Great this worked! If i could ask one more thing. I'd like for source mod to ask players what the next map will be, and pick from the "stock map pool". and only show custom maps when nominated. ATM source mod doesn't pop up with a vote for next map at the end of a match. RTV works, and nominated maps show up there.

Use mapchooser.smx and check the mapchooser section in maplists.cfg.

still not working. Nominate, works. RTV will bring up a map list. The map at the end switches to my "stockmaplist"

Mapchooser.smx is in my plugins folder.
I changed the mapchooser to my stockmap list. no vote map pops up... max rounds per half is only 8.

Is there supposed to be a config file for mapchooser? If so where is it located?

Okay, so i'm back to where i started... At the end of the map no vote map from source mod appears. i can nominate a map from the full list, rtv from the full list, and change the map from admin menu. I'm obviously missing something.

adminmenu_maplist.ini is the full list of maps
stockcycle.ini is short list of maps

Maplist.cfg

mapchooser.cfg

I have mapchooser.smx enabled (rtv and nominations work)
I have rancomcycle.smx disabled
I have nextmap.smx disabled
