Works perfectly, I always wanted this to make my bots appear as human opponents. It's that one thing people know to look for in game. Zero ping means bot. Ping means human.

That said, after using it for a month or so I decided to take it off. It irritates human players more than anything because I (and others who thought this was a really funny plugin) we do like to know when we are playing bots or not - without having to waste time figuring out which people we should chat with.
Yes, it only takes a moment to figure out a bot from a human but it's still one of those cool ideas/cool functions that distracts and annoys more than helps. It's funny as hell if you're an admin, not so funny if you're a passerby jumping in game.

It especially is harmful if you are run a server in hopes of attracting new players on this old game. New players dont necessarily realize they are talking to themselves lol. They may come to the conclusion that the "opponents" just arent that friendly or helpful (or insulting because my bots do a lot of taunting).

Not trashing the plugin, it works splendidly. Good work and thumbs up to the author.

the last versions of PODBOT are already including a ping for bots, but can't be configured.
and yes, I remember when new players came, and start chatting with bots which are replying, too funny before the user knows that's a bot .

Agreed. And by modifying bot chatter files you can have even more fun. I once played on a server with bots and real players, and one of the bots started 'trolling' one of the players.

yeah ! I love the part when after someone says somthing, then a bot replies by: "you said something NiHiLaNTh ?" or "are you sure ?"

I tried to add some new suff to the botchat.txt but it generated errors .

I uploaded pingfaker.amxx to plugins dir, pingfaker.ini to config dir .

In plugins.ini i added pingfaker.amxx

In amxx.cfg

i added

pingfake_enable 1 pingfake_ping 80 pingfake_flux 10 pingfake_target 0 pingfake_bots 0 pingfake_multiplier 0.0 pingfake_fileonly 0

But the mod didnt work for me even i rebooted my VPS still no gain.

hola soy nuevo por aqui y me suscribi a esta pagina porque tengo una duda y quisiera saber si existe la forma de cambiar el ping o latencia modificar algo asi como el ping faker pero que lo cambie afuera del server por ejemplo en find servers o buscar servidores o lista de servidores lo que quiero es poder cambiarle el ping alli donde dice latency o latencia si mi ping real es de 60 quiero que a las personas le aparezca con ping de 40 en find servers o en la lista de servidores espero me puedan ayudar necesito hacer eso y quiero saber si existe algun plugin que lo haga porque cada vez q entro a mi counter strike y entro en la lista de servidores me aparecen como 30 servidores con ping de 35 37 40 y cuando entro al servidor tengo un ping de 200 como lo hacen ? es lo que quiero saber gracias si me pueden ayudar..
