This one is a tad annoying there....

When someone is dead and camping we like to spec him and mash the power keys, so lots of beeping is heard by players in that area.... Only way around that I think is a spk instead of an emit_sound.

can you give me more info? Explain exactly what is happening?

You press the +power# binds while you are dead and it makes the deny beep?

..... I could probably make it so it only does that when your dead, dunno why its doing that if your dead.

I just looked at the code and the only way it should be playing that when your dead is if the hero is coded poorly, please tell me which heros have this problem.

When you press the +power keys when dead it beeps.

But I think the denyselect is an emit_sound , so it emits it from you while spectating. People spectate campers and beep their keys to give the posiitons away.

This just gave me a good idea though, to edit skeletor (which never seems to work), find that old flash cartoon of CS with the background music (he is camping, take of 'cars' by fearfactory) and make it emit that instead....

Let me ask you this. Is it still the fault of the hero when I have 0 bound heros and pressing +power1 through +power9 beeps and they hear it??

so it only does it when you have no bound heros????

This is the find of information I need to know, because right now I cannot reproduce this error.

I think it may only work if you press a bind that you dont have bound to anything.

found problem, I did your suggestion and made it a spk instead of an emit. This way the beep can be used when dead still but it wont make the sound to everyone.

this will be in 1.17.2
