I installed this Plugin on my server and the only thing ive had to do was make sure before the ppl exit i unmonoculi them

there's currently two things I can't do:

I've found entity 'teleport_vortex' it seems to be gravitational trap that sucks player in (its monoculus portal) It just don't spawns particle and don't play portal ambient sound. Works perfect and teleports players to info_target (spawn_purgatory) (Underworld)
So i think spawning i'nfo_particle_system', ambient_generic with portal loop sound and 'teleport_vortex' would make perfect MONOCULUS! portal

And about fixing crash i think you could maybe try changing player team in 'OnClientDisconnect(client)' to Red or Blue and slaying them then. It could work i think.

I remembered some odd thing:
as longer as we can't use ChangeClientTeam with any team id except 2 and 3
I'm just changing m_iTeamNum
but when plugin brings player back from Monoculus mode to normal play:
way 1: changing m_iTeamNum working fine, but I can't remember why I dislike this method;
way 2: using ChangeClientTeam working fine, but once client (that WAS the Monoculus (I mean, when he's no longer the Monoculus, he's back to his team (RED or BLU))) is disconnecting, server doing flip, burn, huge explosion, bunch of ashes, whatever.

I think with changing m_iTeamNum Team Player Counts are getting screwed. So player's can't join red team since it says example 30 players buit there are 11 players

Ideas?

"don't change client team"
"add condition that only spectators can be the Monoculus"
"bring client to spectators with ChangeClientTeam, then bring to unassigned by changing m_iTeamNum, and vice versa"

Anyone want to take a stab at finishing what Leo started on the code posted already? I almost forgot about this after running across this thread a while back and I believe Leo has stopped fooling with TF2.

I tested it and seems to be working ok to start but the changes already noted could be phased in along with enabling rage rocket fire.

I'm working on a plugin called 'BeTheBoss. Should be up as soon as the bugs are fixed.
