We know this feature from SM. You can message admins by adding a '@' symbol infront of your message but what about sending a message only to a specific player(s) ?

You probably know this feature from other applications where you can "whisper" someone. I often see players talking with one or two other player via the chat. I personaly always used the steam chat (shift+tab) to talk to friends in private while we are playing at the same server.

I think such plugin would be interessing for those who like to speak in private with friends or send a message to a specific player on the gameserver. Effectivly could reduce chat spam in a way.

TL;DR: Plugin that allows @playername private/whisper messages. Message sound(s) (on/off) ?

Its built in. You should be able to use y @name I believe (Private to Player) I've only ever done it as an admin though don't think it works for normal players.

Override sm_psay if you want players doing that.
