As I made it I was thinking about how I would do it for TF2.

I don't even know how to switch a players team in TF2. It wouldn't be too hard porting this to TF2 if I could switch their team, without killing them.

it wouldnt be terrible if they had to respawn for the other team

i will happily test any attempts u may make on a server, if u r lacking a beta test environment for tf2...

That would be appreciated. I should be able to get to this by tomorrow sometime. I have to make some revisions the project base this plugin uses to allow for multi-game support.

Here is a completely untested build for TF2:

Just download the current package, install, and then overwrite the old .smx with this one.

The source is also attached because of the license, but it is by no means official.

Also, the gamedata file isn't required for this. I don't know the TF2's version of CSS's TerminateRound signature. The round may not end, but hopefully TF2 will detect that all players are on one team and restart. (its a stretch, but maybe)


Bleh, don't try this plugin. It will crash when it tries to set the model. I need to fix that.

ready whenever you are... i just finnished setting up a test tf2 enviroment for this... im gonna rotate it through a few game types (snipers, surf, highlander, regular...) and see what all works well and what game types are the most fun to play it with...

i dont mean to be pushy.... just ready... lol

Haha well I just learned how to end the round in TF2. It looks like I can't switch a player's team without killing them. So basically respawn will be locked on, but the problem now is that ragdolls are spawned. So now I have to find the ragdoll entity TF2 uses and clear those.

y not let the rag dolls spawn?... if they dont the spy's dead ringer is rendered useless... just a thought... but it really doesnt make much difference to me either way (i almost never play spy...), so if you want to block it dont let me talk you out of it... lol

Just finished coding the official version that should be released today. CS:S didn't break, and I'm just about to test on TF2
