I'm running hlds server on a hosting machine with ssh/sftp/ftp access. The problem is that when the server crash it doesnt restart automatically. I'm running the server with the following parameters:

screen -A -m -d -S cs1 ./hlds_run -binary ./hlds_i686 -timeout 60 -autoupdate -game cstrike +map de_dust2 +ip *.*.*.* -port 27015 +maxplayers 22 +exec listip.cfg -zone 8192 -pingboost 2

I believe it's a linux script that is always running and checking the status of the server or something like that.

One that starts the server if it's down. Obviously, that is the only way it will get restarted (automatically).

Nope. I don't know of any particular script (that I can remember) but I know that is how it's done.

there is still a bug in the hlds_run script.

open the hlds_run file

search for:

Debug=0

and change it to:

Debug="0"

save the file and restart ur server with your command.
