[Geel9]

This is the official scrap.tf plugin.

This plugin allows users to type !scrapbank in-game, at which point the scrap.tf page will open in the MOTD. As soon as the page loads, the users are added to the queue automatically.

This plugin requires an API key for scrap.tf. It's easy to get an API key; simply login to scrap.tf and register one via the api key page. This is an automatic and free process.

An API key is required so that we can limit "griefing" of the service. One API key can be used on multiple servers.


Scrap.tf is an automatic scrap banking service. We allow users to scrapbank and reverse bank at the same rate, 1 scrap per two weapons. It costs the users nothing to do so.


Cvars:

scrap_ad_time: (Default 180) Displays a text message alerting users of the !scrapbank command every X seconds.

scrap_enabled: (Default 1) If 0, the plugin will not be enabled.

scrap_private_key: The private API key for your server. You cannot share this with anyone.

scrap_public_key: The public API key for your server. This key is not required to remain a secret.

Commands:
bank: Typing !bank or /bank shows a menu allowing a player to choose hat, key, or scrap banking.


Installation instructions:
Register an API key. You only need one for all your servers. Place the following in your server.cfg:
scrap_private_key "PRIVATEKEYHERE"
scrap_public_key "PUBLICKEYHERE"

According to my players, the plugin is saying "This function is disabled." Any ideas why?

Works fine for me and other players. Maybe they have html motd disabled.

I get the same "This function is disabled" message. HTML is fully enabled on my end seeing I see HTML motd's just fine.

So Geel9 originally had it done in a very bad and exploitable way so I disabled it temporarily.

We redesigned it with API keys, and it's all working now.

It displays its own message every so often, but you can set the timer cvar to 0 to make it not display.
