Camera movement for the 25th anniversary
Edit: I fixed it, just had to install ReGameDLL
Edit2: When I open a server with HLDS that I installed in SteamCMD, it has ReGameDLL installed, but the camera movement doesn't work, I tried joining from another PC even though both have ReGameDLL installed, the camera remains static like the first problem.
I tried opening the server as Lan (not using HLDS) and it works, I connected my other account and both do have camera movement

I did a clean install of my czero, but when I opened it, the camera movement wasn't there. I'm not using betas. It's supposed to work.

It also happened in CStrike and HL, how do I enable movement again?

Here's a backup I had, where the movement is there. But why isn't it working?

It's a very annoying dilemma.
ReHLDS won't run if I have version HL25.
When I try to open HLDS.exe, I get this error:

hlds.exe Entry Point Not Found
The SteamApps procedure entry point could not be found in the dynamic link library C
:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Half-Life/swds.dll.

Half-Life Dedicated Server Error
Unable to load engine

I can only open LAN, and it works for people who connect.

But I no longer have the FOV and camera balance improvements.

It also doesn't work if I use SteamCMD [steam_legacy] and try to log in from the client with the HL25 version.

Is there a plugin that does the camera thing? I know there isn't, but I'm asking. :P

Make sure you have downloaded the latest rehlds & regame bin files. Amxx 1.9 is also recommended. On my server i am running legacy with Oct 7 2024 version and i have both rehlds, regame and ham/engine/fakemeta working fine.

Are you referring to the roll angle effect in the camera? This was indeed added to Half-Life in HL25 but the inclusion in CS was not intended, because they updated it to set the values (which are server-sided, by the way!) to 0.



You can re-enable this behavior with these convars
