Okay

1. I downloaded files at https://github.com/dataviruset/sm-hosties/tree/beta
2. Put them in my compiling map with all includes that are in scripting etc.
3. Compiled sm_hosties.smx
4. Uploaded sm_hosties.smx + translations to my server
5. restarted server

I use it for cs:go, also there are some errors at compiling




Edit: there is also an error in compiling for lastrequest.inc because u have set : Game_unknown

Those compiler errors are also already fixed, so this confirms you're not compiling the correct version.

You need to follow the instructions to compile properly, which are in the sticky thread Compiling SM Hosties. But you need to use the beta instead of master for the GitHub download:

Yes i did that Downloaded now the link you gave me, still getting same warnings
edit: maybe sourcemod 1.7 is problem
edit2: downloaded the latest sourcemod 1.8, and compiling works fine ( no errors and warnings), but will the plugin work on sourcemod 1.7, since i compiled it for 1.8

What is the error for the Hosties include file when you compile on 1.7? Or is it a compiler error for another plugin using the include file?

Those specific set of 8 compiler warnings can be ignored and won't effect anything from 1.7 to 1.8. That seems to make sense because I believe the variable type for that function was changed slightly between those two versions.

It doesn't make sense why bugs would re-appear in 1.7 that were fixed, if you're using the latest version. Ideally it would compile into the same code, but I would recommend using the Hosties compiled with 1.8 only on SourceMod 1.8.

Yeah idk really, try to compile it yourself on 1.7.3 - 5294 and tell me if it successfuly compiles..

barvica, it successfully compiles for me. There are the tag mismatch warnings but as stated those can just be ignored. I'm not seeing any errors from the include file as you mentioned. What is that error message you receive?

I didnt get any new errors, but the LR bugs are still there. I dont know what to do. I get those 8 tag mismatches but the LR bug is still there for knife battle and rock papers scissors

barciva, I verified those fixes back when I still had the game installed, so it doesn't appear to be the code. It could still be you're not uploading the right version. It could be that, for some reason, SM1.7 is no longer going to work. Have you tried SM1.8 and a SM Hosties compiled on 1.8?

No, because if i update it to 1.8 most of my plugins wont work.. like store etc.

It still sounds like it's the wrong version though.. how about this, since you are looking for fixes back in December/March, try getting the auto-compiled versions from
