So I've done so search in google and it seems that VALVe will be in the GamesCom 2014, Do you think they'll talk about Source 2 ? I saw some people saying hl3 confirmed today here and there ...

Interesting. I think (and that's my personal opinion), if they do release HL3 then it's gonna be epic. It's rumored to be in the works for god knows how long.

I can tell you tommorow, I'll be in the Business Area for a meeting with a company.
I'd almost say they can't release HL3, the community has so many expectations in HL3 that it is almost impossible for Valve to make the game that good.

It seems that they already made HL3 in the source engine, but they don't want to release it until they do it on Source 2, and Source 2 is already made but no games with it yet, so they are importing HL 3 from Source to Source 2 and all the other L4D3 will be L4D2 in Source2, same with TF

No, it is using a modified version of Source1

Dota 2 will be probably the first game to switch to Source 2, though.

As of HL3, I'm almost certain they won't release it. They're getting so much money from Steam sales cuts, the marketplace, their games (Dota 2, TF2, CS:GO, ...) which are ones of the most played games on Steam that they have really no reason to work on a game. Business 101.

The new Dota 2 Workshop Tools Alpha ships with a copy of Source 2 Dota 2 alongside the existing Source 1 version.
