Geany in Debian 8 was okay, but due to SmartGit having issues with Debian 8, I had to upgrade. I upgraded to Debian 11... and ever since... Geany randomly freezes on me.

Any suggestions on a different editor like Geany?

Cause Geany lets me run sourcemod compiler and I can see the response in Geany.
