Hey sourcebans moves your basebans to disabled and is supposed to replace it with a ban option linked to sourcebans but it wont work to ban from ingame.. even though it works to ban players from webpanel.. plz help!

there are no logs cause it isn't anything wrong its just no ban option I have checked the logs it does not show any kind of error it is just it wont show a ban option in admin menu if you ban via the website it works 100%

just type !ban rytis 30 then it bans him 30 minutes and will appear in sourcebans.

you just use !ban command

This does not solve the problem as to why the option is not appearing in the menu. This does not solve the issue of players having names with all or mostly untypable characters. This does not solve the issue of banning players who have their entire name as a sub-string of another player's name. Etc.

If I can remember correctly, you're supposed to restart your server after SourceBans unloads basebans.

im sure he has restarted. annyway type status in console and you will see numbers with # in them and the players name
u can simply do !ban #31 and it will ban ID 31 thats in the server.

if you are root flag and typing !admin and there is no ban command, (you saying there was one before you added sourcebans i hope) then yeah thats wierd but ur solution is above there. you wont be banning players that often and thats one simple way to do it.

remove sourcebans...and add basebans back and use !admin and say if the overlay is showing up then just to test.

Excellent, now all you need to do is use your psychic powers to beam that information into the minds of server moderators who don't know how userID's work.

The menu system exists for a reason. "There are other ways to do it" is not a valid reason to ignore issues with the menu.

Reloading the adminmenu usually fixes those things.
