Hi,

I found a model that I really like but unfortunately it has the CSO hand textures which I don't really love. It kinda feels out of place on my Zombie Plague server and I wanna change it to the default hand texture. Is it possible?

Yes I know that I can export the bmp file and stretch the default hand texture into the CSO one, but thats just wrong in my opinion.

My plan was to delete the CSO hand bmp's and add the 3 default one (view_glove, view_finger, view_skin), but I don't know how to do it.

Thanks in advance!

(The model that I wanna change the hand textures on is attached in PNG format, so people know what I'm talking about.)

I think replacing the .bmp is the easiest option. Replacing the texture with three textures would require decompiling the model and retexturing the hand.

It is doable but many more steps.

To add custom hands you need to edit the model with MilkShape3D model editor , but you can replace or edit the textures by using the Model Viewer via export - import functions.

For me, I think it would be better with the MilkShape3D, since I can't really make the default hand texture fit in the 512x512 bmp.

How should I start? Is there any tutorial on this?
