Gotta admit that Pawn, being my motivation to get into programming and a mentor for all these years, is absolutely baaaaaad. But then again, It's only a scripting language.

Pawn(amxx) > vb6 > COBOL > c++ > c# > php, pawn(amxx)

What’s so bad about PAWN? I think it’s great.

They are probably saying it's bad because it is so simple and it lacks most of the bells and whistles from other languages.

You should probably spend more than 2 seconds reading a post. I wasn't saying it is or it isn't bad.
If pawn's simplicity is not the problem, then what is it?

That's what makes it great! It's my goto when trying to test out simple concepts. Sure, it might be because it's the language that I'm most comfortable with but the memory system of cells of 4 bytes makes everything just so f*cking easy.

Well, I'm denying it for the obvious reason you can't supply any reason.

Jokes aside. I would always prefer Object Oriented programming over things like Pawn a million times.

What joke? Nobody's laughing. Trying to play off what you can't back up. Pathetic.
Making fun about a language on a forum that basically came to be because of that language. Genious.

OOP has it's place, but it doesn't make it better.
