Problem:
There is this one plugin i really miss out there in css
server heaven, cssrpg, problem is it stopped working
after valve did the major orangebox update for the game.

(The developers of the plugin posted their last news post
on their homepage at "Jan 14th 2008", and we havent
heard much from them since then.. I have also tried many
times to reach them through email and their forum without
response...)

I know the alternative addons\plugins but it's just not
catching the same crowd as cssrpg, honestly the menu
sucks, wich ruins gameplay..

Anyway I know for a fact I'm not alone on this one, that's
why I am asking you now for help on getting the mod
working again.

Latest version of the plugin:
CSS:RPG v1.0.5 100XL
Link to binaries and latest version:
http://www.cssrpg.com/index.php

Any help is preciated

EDIT: added a source file, cssrpg.cpp, where i tweaked the level barriers for the rpg-upgrades up to 100 (except for denial).

I attached my current setup, wich haven't worked since the OB update..
I have tried this setup on a paid-for-gameserver (linux) couple months ago too without luck.

Now I'm just trying it on my dedicated server launched from my home-pc..

I installed metamod (see attachment) and get this when typing:
"meta version"

Metamod:Source version 1.8.5
Build ID: 752e48f4adf523
Loaded As: GameDLL (gameinfo.txt)
Compiled on: Dec 19 2010
Plugin interface version: 15:14
SourceHook version: 5:5
http://www.metamodsource.net/

"meta list"
Listing 1 plugin:
[01] <ERROR>

Then after unloading it and typing this (i prefixed it):
meta load cssrpg
Failed to load plugin addons/cssrpg/bin/cssrpg_mm (The specified procedure could not be found.
)

Before this i tried installing it without metamod:source, downloading the top archieve here and extracting it into the addons folder.. It didn't work

Any ideas?

Looking at the source, all it needs is to be fixed up a bit then recompiled against the orangeboxvalve sdk

Why not just use the [THC RPG] Total HardCore RPG plugin for SourceMod?

I don't like the default setup, nor the rpg-menu of any rpgmod I've seen theese days.. They are missing some of the nice features that cssrpg have, the "impulse bug" for instance. Impulse was intended to make you run faster when shot at, and it does, in addition it "gives" you ammo when you get shot at so you can spray endlessly.. It's really fun to have that option combined with the CSSRPG-XXL update

Anyway the menu easy to get used to and you have the main upgrades you will need on the first buy page, plus the buy\sell menu closes even if you don't have enough credit to buy it (BY DEFAULT).

Also i remember the frostpistol, icestab and longjump was much more smooth and controllable than any of the rpgmods out there have today..
