What innovative/good HL1 mods do you know and why there are worth mentioning ?

There's a mod called something like global warfare.

Some HL1 mods are actually quite good. There was one that was a Res Evil rip off, but it was pretty cool. If I had a bunch of free time and no life, I'd prolly try and play a lot of these.
Making a mod actually would be better then just making mods on amxx for cs 1.6

Are you talking by any chance about Resident Evil: Cold Blood ? Because I saw that mod, as I'm a resident evil fan and I've searched on every possible Resident Evil mod that I could find, and that mod didn't look verry good... Neither the gameplay wasn't very close to the original series... And that mod was pretty much the only released one of this kind if I remember well...
