It now does that.

Added sm_urlchatblock_show_message_to_author, an option to show message to the author so he/she would not realize the block.

Please make sure you update this plugin as the old version was buggy and probably very useless in most situations.
Note: I have not tested the newest version, so feedback from you guys would be really helpful.

Version 2.2 up.
I have tested it on my own build and it seems like it's working fine; I didn't get the chance to test it throughout however. The dependency for SCP (Simple Chat Processor) has been terminated and the code has been optimized.

its not working for me

the prior .1 version worked fine until the last steam update, then broke
so i installed this one, but it allows the urls to be posted.
