good night, i'm from brazil and i have a hosting outside of brazil, however when i run a query the server stops for 1 second back. is it possible to solve this?

I assume you mean in the middle of the game?
SQL_PrepareQuery() together with SQL_Execute() is the cause of this then in this case. Use SQL_ThreadQuery() instead.

where is mysql/VPS located?

location really matter for this purpose..just like if you want to play from brasil to any cs serbian server...you will have ping, without option to 'trick' it...i hope im wrong but not very optimistic

yes, I am using execute and SQL_PrepareQuery, I will try to use SQL_ThreadQuery, and I will answer again.

yes but what happens is that when i run the query the server inside the game is locked. all players feel the lock.

ye its like a choke/freeze...is that happening on every query you are sending or just for some? could be a chance it is a query problem or big data in table but not a delay..

I came back, I performed the tests, and SQL_ThreadQuery really makes all the difference, lag no longer exists for distant servers. there are no more fights, thank you all.
