Killed by..
A CS:S / CS:GO effect, when you get killed
(v1.1)

This plugin was a request, and I like interessting and new ideas. So I took my time, and made the best I could do. The point of the plugin is that your view freezes on the player, when you die for 3 seconds.

The working is easy, when player dies, I check everyone around the killer, and make a fakeplayer of everyone he can see put them all in a different dimension and put a cameraman that aims on the killer.

The known bugs are solved, but ofc if you find post them in this thread.

Any improvements would be a 'shooting'-weapon effect, like you see fire out the weapon, if someone is intressting in explaining how that could be done, youre welcome.

For the installation you will need Director Hud Message by Arkshine.

Update v1.1, is a big code optimize, removed 'client_cameraman', means the effect is changed alot. Now you see the view that CS gives you, from your dead body aimed to ur killer (but then with the Freeze effect ofc).

Any if your intressted here you have some screenshots 1 2 3

Simple and nice !

Although it seems incompatible with Advanced Slow Motion. --> Advanced Slow Motion Fixed Version.

The slow motion doesn't work anymore when this plugin is active. And of course I'm not talking about when you get killed. Obviously in that case it makes sense you can't see yourself get killed in slow motion, since you're seeing the effect of this plugin.

It always blocks the slow motion. If you kill someone you won't see that player dying in slow motion like you should.

And that's a pity because I would like to have both plugins working, but seems like this is a bit hard to solve. I hope I'm wrong.

This plugin creates an fakecopy (entity) of the player..

The point of this plugin is a freeze on the moment he kills you.

its pretty cool... one suggestion... add cvar to choose which direction to show the camera view of fake player...

example

"0" - player view front on
"1" - player view side left
"2" - player view side right
"3" - player view back.

instead of it always random?

id personally love to be able to have it show front view in the freeze frame...

v1.1
- The closeup effect has been removed, and now you see a view from dead body aimed to killer. This solves the known bugs also

Great ! The way you did now makes it possible for the slow motion to work with this.

But there's a bug. When you kill someone, the body disappears and only appears again when is lying on the floor.

Try using AMXX 1.8.2. It compiles fine for me.
