Hey guys,
I want to add tags on a zombie that is located in models/player but on one of my zombies I am unable to add more than two letters and I get an error when the server starts. So if I type zombie_infected_human or zombie_infected_humanN it works... if, however, I type zombie_infected_humanNN, it doesn't. How can I make it work. It has to do with the model name/model path but I tried increasing the limits and nothing happends I still get the error.

EDIT: The problem is 100% in the model path... any ideas on how to fix this ?

What do you mean by adding tag on a zombie name? Do you want the zombie model to have specific folder:

model/player/zombieplague/jumper(zmd94)

Not only being in a folder, I can't even add a tag with more than 1 letter... if I want to rename my zombe from "zombie_infected_human" to "VG_zombie_infected_human" it won't work.. I can't make it work...
Regardless of the model being in a folder or having a tag, if the whole path is bigger than 128 letters it doesn't work. And I tried increasing the model_path[128] to 250 characters and I compiled it but IT. JUST. DOES. NOT. WORK...
I want to know WHY ? The code is correct, everything is as it should be.

Please help me solve this, if anyone helps me fix it, I will be GREATLY delighted !

Why don't you use smaller names? Have you tried?

Just try this:

1. If you want to add tag for Jumper Zombie, so you have to edit the folder name:

model/player/zombieplague/jumper/jumper(zmd94).mdl

2. Then, you have to edit you zp_zombieclasses.ini file:

[Jumper Zombie] NAME = Jumper Zombie MODELS = zombie_source <--- Please edit this.

3. Just change it with the name that you have set in the jumper folder:

[Jumper Zombie] NAME = Jumper Zombie MODELS = jumper(zmd94)

I tried it and I get "model not found" but as I said... the plugin is compiled successfully and the model is in the proper place.

I don't want to have a tag with only one letter...

You do not have to edit the .sma file of the zombie class. Just edit the zp_zombieclasses.ini

all the player models must be in the models/player folder, nowhere else.

model/player/zombieplague/jumper/jumper(zmd94).mdl: this is a wrong path, the model and its folder must have the same name.
