What version are you running really? 1.01 does include fakemeta_stocks.inc. I just made a fresh download + install of AMX Mod X 1.01, then the Cstrike addon over that. Then I compiled this using the includes with the new installation. And it works, out of the box. :-)

Did you comment out ALLOWREADINGMAIL?
Because if you did and it works "out of the box" no errors or anything, its something even more wierd with the code... Its more or less magic!

Actually there is a failure in the code, and it wont work properly nor compile properly unless you change it. This problem only occurs when ALLOWREADINGMAIL is commented.

And yes fakemeta_stocks.inc is included in version 1.01 and it do compile properly on 1.01 too, IF you correct the code.

If you download the file here above and check it out, and take a closer look at:

#if defined ALLOWREADINGMAIL
under #if defined FORUM_PHPBB
(actually the problem is under IPB too, so both works)

You might see the difference and the problem if you compare them.

Good work btw. A small problem but essential.

lol WITH the allowreading it can compile
but without the allowreading it cant

and it might be that this mail client is fucking up my counter-strike..
so if anyone could post a working forummod.amxx file without the mailclient..
would be cool

Does the REAL one work if you don't want the PM ingame function activated ? I don't think so.

I apologise if I violated any rules (but I would sure like to know which rule was violated then).

Ok I see, it didn't, but now it should... 0.6.3b up.

I've been working some on this lately. It only does any SQL related stuff when map is loading/unloading (getting player info on load (to vault!), syncing game stats on unload). Which means no occasional freezing during games when people log on off, if you have a slow connection to your forum db.
The only thing ingame queries would be used for is reading PMs, but you could always shut that off.

It's not ready for release yet, I have to make sure it works with IPB and some other stuff...

btw I try to keep a limited number of versions out so that supporting plugins is easier for me...
