I set it to give kills on flag round wins and flag match wins, 3 and 10 respectively for the winning team. Seems better then just 1 every flag capture.

I really gotta report more stuff to pred. I dunno if roundstats is gonna cut it since csdm seems the way to go to emulate bf2, badges aren't being earned correctly cause of it...

Yeah I've just started running CSDM on my server and see what you mean..

Will have to look into doing it another way. "Kills per round" isn't quite as meaningful in csdm because a round can be 30mins.. Way to easy.

And it just doesn't seem to work some of the time..

I'm thinking about it...

Hey, for version 1.4, maybe add BF2 Classes?

I wouldn't know how many classes there really are in Bf2 but Classes would be pretty cool. You would need a certain BF2 Rank to be able to obtain a certain class. Being in a Class would give bonuses like HP (a Sniper* should get more HP then someone in the Assault* Class), free weapons according to Classes (a Primary, Secondary and anything else if nesassary) and maybe a small extra bonus according to your Class (maybe a small damage multiplier).

It would be pretty cool. Much better than the Armies idea.

Well BF2 is similar to DoD in that you choose a class at each spawn, and the weapons you get depends on what class you choose. I think this would be kinda cool if it were done similar to how csdm /guns menu works for each spawn. Could be like an addon/secondary plugin for bf2 rank mod.

http://wiki.bf2s.com/classes/battlefield-2

ie say /class

menu comes up with:
1. New Player Class
2. Previous Player Class
3. 2+Don't show menu again

and ideally to be like bf2 you choose between:
1. Special Ops - knife, pistol, ump, he grenade, defuse kit, satchel charge/remote bombs, maybe if t prefer this player to get c4
2. Assault - knife, pistol, galil w/m203 grenade launcher 6 grenades, smoke nade, vest armor
3. Anti-Tank - pistol, tmp/mac10 (ct/t), 2/3 guided rockets from a bazooka (takes place of knife?)
4. Support - knife, pistol, m249, he grenade, vest+helmet armor, can give/drop ammo ammo gain depends on what weapon is out
5. Sniper - knife, pistol, scout, 2/3 claymore mines
6. Engineer - knife, pistol, m3, defuse kit, 4/5 proximity mines or something like it
7. Medic - knife, pistol, mp5, revival kit, drop med packs

then choose to unlock a weapon depending on rank like BF2 and choose any weapon which corresponds to a class:
1. Special Ops - aug/sig
2. Assault - m4/ak w/m203
3. Anti-Tank - famas
4. Support - flash bang?
5. Sniper - awp
6. Engineer - auto-shotgun
7. Medic - p90

you can see when unlocks are available at what rank here: http://ubar.bf2s.com/ranks.php

Then when choosing class have a secondary menu if weapon is unlocked for that class to choose what weapon they want to use, ie:
after choosing Special Ops,
Special Ops:
1. ump
2. p90

This is just an idea, not an exact example of what should be done.
For the non default things you can use other plugin for examples ie:
Medic's revival - http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=29556
Assault's m203 - (there are v models for each weapon from above) http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=51086
etc... Sometimes there are a couple different plugins for like say a bazooka.

I can't load the plugin properly:
Quote:
L 04/14/2007 - 22:11:04: [AMXX] Invalid Plugin (plugin "bf2rank.amxx")
L 04/14/2007 - 22:11:19: String formatted incorrectly - parameter 4 (total 3)
I am using AmxModX 1.76d and I have "csstats_rank 1" in my amxx.cfg ( normal rankings work perfectly ), tho I have no idea about actually loading the csstats module... don't find it in the modules or plugins directories nor config files, but I guess it is loaded since the normale ranks do work.

I also have "bf2_sql 0" in my server.cfg since I'm using nvault instead of sql.

Oh and I can't seem to be able to compile it locally , some error :
Quote:
//// bf2rank.sma
// C:\Programme\AMX Mod X\files\base\scripting\bf2rank.sma(9 : fatal error 100
: cannot read from file: "fakemeta_util"
//
// Compilation aborted.
// 1 Error.
// Could not locate output file compiled\bf2rank.amx (compile failed).
//
// Compilation Time: 0,48 sec
So I used the precompiled version, but I thought that shouldn't be a problem since I am using the latest version of amxx.

Thanks for your help in advance

Place the fakmeta_util include file into your scripting/include folder from here: http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=28284

as for your other problem, type amxx plugins in "server console" or with amx_showrcon command and report the errors at the bottom. Invalid plugin usually refers to a mismatched compile version but can be the file is not located in the plugins folder. as far as the format part of the error seem like a native is not getting enough parameters. Is that the full error? do you have the plugin in debug mode in plugins.ini?

Yes , that was the full error it seems. Dunno how to put it in debug mode, but

I did as you told me to with the fakemeta utils, the compiling worked and the new compiled version doesn't get a bad load anymore ^_^

Big Thanks ^_^

HI,
a nice Plugin and it works with amxx 1.76d puhxD

But can you disable the Defusekit that you became with Explosives Bedges
in the CSDM version from BF2Mod.
It crashes Server when the round never end and a lot of Defusekits were droppt.

Anyone know a way to make it all show in the MOTD?

im having a problem with the .html files.. When i installed the mod, it was in configs/bf2. so when i joined the server and typed /bf2menu and went to Badges help 1, it comes up with addons\amxmodx\configs\badges1.html

So i move it to where it should be (Configs\badges1.html) so the help,badges1/2 work for a few days. then it doesnt even though i havent changed a thing in my configs. Now when i go into one of the badges help, it says "/badges1.html"

Any idea's?
