I've just installed 1.8.3 in my server but while checking "meta list" only amx is loading rest other modules are not loading i'm using linux and on windows it's working fine

Do you have SSH access to the server? If so, can you

ls -l addons/amxmodx/configs

and/or

stat addons/amxmodx/configs/modules.ini

and post output?

I'm sure the process not being able to read a file has nothing to do with the update.

But it's reading well and working fine with 1.8.2
