If your server doesn't frequently FREEZE stuck., just choose 1 OR 2

method 1 = Default （Identify most engine error crashes）

When I have moethod 4 as crash check I only get this in my log
2017/11/22 05:467--[Crash Check:Error] Connect Steam API Server Error Json != response/success Crash Check Not Working!! Please Change Crash Check Method!!£¨if not often pass through£©

What happenends sometimes: sometimes we get a super lag spike and the server stops responding for atleast 5 minutes, drops like 20 players then goes back online.
If it doesn't do that it will remain offline and whatever happened in console last will just stay there and it wont restart.
What I need is for a crash method to check on the server is responding or not, the srcds is still active but if I browse the server info it will say "not responding".

for most SRCDS mothod 1 and 2 ,3, the stop response can be closed
I'm not familiar with the GMOD's stop response
can you use Spy++ information that captures? If there is no window, it’s freeze recommended use method 3

Thanks, but do I need to open some sort of port forward or something?

This new ping system did stop my server from starting properly, it was booting up loading most addons etc.
And it for some reason the ping thing failed to receive and restarted it over and over again.
I think this is because the server uses alot of resource on starting and may lag abit before its stable, and then maybe the ping thinks its crashed?
However should I just increase the interval?

Allow set minimum uptime to start A2S Ping def (60 sec)

Don't set too low intval (<5000) suggestions 15000 failed count >= 5

If you are SSD, you can lower it

I've tested GMOD dedicated server

don't have any mod/plugins
Server freeze still occurred randomly

doesn't have any wrong window. It's just 'freeze'
