If you have the webshortcuts plugin running it would be pretty simple to force a web page to display x seconds after joining the server

Great! I just checked the web shortcuts plugin thread, didn't see any cvars or convars that control that. Would you know what source code I would have to alter(and how) to pull that off then? But that also raises issues of the window being shown every time you join the server, or change maps, and having immunity control over who sees it and when. But I guess beggars can't be choosers. Cheers! : P

Rules don't display when i connect to server. I have sm_showrules_showonjoin set to 1 (i checked server and it is set to that), and when someone joins server they still dont see the menu. When i use admin command though, it displays to the player.

hi,

im having problems with this plugin. players on my server are complaining that the rules are not always shown when they enter the server and that it still kicks them. I have experienced this myself as an admin on the server until i disabled it for admins.

i am now using this plugin with sm 1.2

I dont know whats with L4D, but it download to client side the mp3 but not play it.
Seems EmitSoundToClient not work, same as display rules on connect, maybe issue with those all CreateTimers?

I have exactly the same issue on Age of Chivalry server. Would be really nice if this would get fixed by someone cause i find this plugin nice

Instead of explaining to everyone why they got kicked/banned i just say "read the rules again"

Doesnt show up for me on CSS, even with sm_showrules_showtoadmins to 1.
Also when i remove myself from admin list it still doesnt show up unless i use sm_showrules <name>
Hope it get all cleared up soon, cause really would like it to work.

EDIT: found why it only shows now and then cause sm_showrules_expiration is set to 24 hours, if sm_showrules_expiration 0 it shows on every join.
