I gave them the original horseman model for the laughs to see what it would do and it runs around in civilian mode and it's funny. lol

If you use the swords and I think the FaN or Sandviches or Jarate, you run around with the correct horsemann animation.

If you use bonk (either taunt or mouse click I forget which one) it plays some weird animation I've never seen. Looks like high-fiving / filling a cup.

Now, from what I understand, to change the skins of a model, you change the specified path for the model to find the textures? Also, if anyone would be willing to do a quick conversion for me, it'd help a ton.

Yeah. It tries to match up taunts somehow, ends up going into other animations. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhdVHQqtyxo

Dunno if it's been asked before, but for the bodygroups/flags part, do we separate specifications with a comma or with a space?

i.e. "HIDE_ENGINEER_HELMET, HIDE_ENGINEER_HELMET"

or

"HIDE_ENGINEER_HELMET HIDE_ENGINEER_HELMET"

?

It doesn't matter, it just searches for the string.

However, the bodygroup flags are kinda useless now. Valve made bodygroup rendering clientside, apparently. And also, that's specific to if the client is playing Engineer, so it'll mess with whatever bodygroups are on the model he's currently wearing, acting as if bodygroup helmet were bodygroup 1, etc.

Basically, try not to use those unless you somehow find some reason to.

Credits go to Mecha the Slag for creating this and to Flamin Sarge for doing all the research.
Actually most of the mdl file research was mine from back in the EM days ;) (unless they ignored my notes and did it all themselves which would be a little silly)

Great job on finally releasing this btw
