Well I don't see why not. I use map specific config files, and the cvars get executed fine.

Map configs work, I have them set for the Hunted and I don't have any problems.

Map specific configs don't seem to work for arena maps.
I have the same problem.

For any other gamemode they work.

Since you only need this for Arena maps, it should work fine if you put it in config_arena.cfg.

Unfortunately it doesn't.
Either way - map config or config_arena - the values will be the default for arena until I manually change them.

Yeah.. mp_waitingforplayers_cancel 1 doesn't work in cfgs, that's why I don't get why this was unaproved.

map specific cfg cvars dont work with beetles mod cfgs file either so it needs a plugin to force it.

does it allow peopel to join a team even if theyre the only person in the server so they can run around the map? i really want somethign that can do this

This plugin has bug (or some incompatibility) - sourcetv is also being added to one of the teams.. Please fix it..

Just do sm_cvar mp_waitingforplayers_cancel 1

Edit: That doesn't seem to do anything actually..

Edit2: I figured out that
sm_cvar mp_waitingforplayers_time "0"
makes it so the waiting for players practically doesn't even exist.
