I have now added the map names into the saxton_hale_maps.cfg. Thanks very much for that piece of advice loranger.

Thank you too FlaminSarge. I had actually thought of that myself, but didn't want to "break" anything. My Clan members love the VS Saxton Hale Mod and I am running Sir Lamers Jukebox to play our own music in the server. It's just that whenever we get right into having fun jiveing to a great tune, the Saxton Hale Music starts.

My temp solution is just to bind a key to hale_stop_music at least this is less time consuming. I just thought that there may be a cvar that would disable it. I only wish to do this on one of the VS Saxton Hale Servers we are running, the other one will be OK!

I had just assumed that with the hale_stop_music included as an option for an Admin to use, that there would be a way to just disable it completely?

Thank you for the advice though. I may just remove the sound files, if that will solve the problem without causing an error?

I agree. Ppl have been playing vsh for 1 year+ now and its so "mind raping" to hear the annoying HHH song over and over.

The average tf2 player is kids.. they have no knowledge on how to trun it off clientside and they dont bother reading the help msg

Hale music should def be OFF by default

Just put up a message somewhere letting them know they have the option. Otherwise, the other side will just wonder where the hell the music went.

That's what the !hale menu is for, though. It's got all the options right there *and* a reminder to do that every so often (type !hale to open the VSH menu message).

If people can't read, people can't read.
It'd be really tedious to have something to disable the music while still making the music forwards fire properly, I think. I haven't looked much into it.

If I put the default hale_enabled on 0, and then make CFG's for all my VSH maps with it on 1 instead of 0 it's still on 0.....
I want this because somebody made a plugin for me that works when hale enabled is on 1 ,but I want it not to work on normal maps.

So after trying my best to ignore it, I've decided to finally address why random people can initiate any old vote without the vote (k) flag. This only happens on my VSH server.

There is nothing in admin_overrides.cfg, and the only plugin differences between my VSH server and the rest are saxton hale, and taunt crits. I highly doubt that tauntcrits is doing enough to overwrite an entire admin flag.

Is anyone experiencing this? Players have access to every single voting command available.

Do you have a plugin that does !votekick and such?
I use to have the same issue on my own servers when I use to run some. Someone is just guessing the command that is needed for the server to execute in order to bring up the vote, which can be activated by a single person in console. Default vote configs often are votekick, voteban etc. You should change that.

And on a different matter, the map I was working on is now done. I just need to test it on another mod before I bring it over to VS Saxton Hale.

Anthal: It's not VSH, VSH doesn't touch vote configs.

dylstew: use the saxton_hale_maps.cfg file to set which maps you want VSH to be on. The cvar's only for turning VSH on/off mid-map.
Please read instructions next time. I'm sure this has come up before.
