I've been getting that since 1.4.8 too.

I filed it as a bug. It's causing wrong 5 minute bans on a player who's ban is expired for some reason...

I don't understand where to submit this... I have tried both locations in the screenshots provided, how am I suppose 'query into the database'?

One of the issues I am having is if there is a momentary disconnect with my sourcebans database (db and game servers are *not* on the same box), or if I add or remove an admin (which I use for donors/reserved slots), then until the server is restarted, admins will lose their powers.

I hear this may have been a pre-1.48 issue, but I am using Sourcbans 1.48 and latest 1.4 SM snapshot.....any thoughts/ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Click "SQL" in the top menu, then copy/paste that SQL code that Peace-Maker provided.

Database corrupted maybe?
Possibly... You could try running that command (Can't think of it atm) to check all your tables. I mean the error does say it's not getting any result set's back. So maybe it's a problem with the query string. I also love how they misspelled process as 'rocess'.

Ive reloaded the database as I think it was corrupt. Ill post back here re that.

re "rocess" That was me I deleted a smiley face caused by the coding

EDIT:

As far as I can tell my database was corrupt as after deleting it and re setting up it seems to of corrected all errors. I think it may have something to do with importing sql tables from a previous 1.4.8 set-up on a different server. After re setting up and importing SQL bans only all seems good.

Thanks for the suggestions anyway.

everything is working, i can see the server on my sourceban web. I can kick or ban players. However, the sourceban log keep giving me those error. Anyone know why? I have read to node/20 and the hosting company also did but we still getting the same error
Your host running ubuntu linux?
missing file '/tmp/mysql.sock' is a common 'bug' in ubuntu

If so
sudo ln -s /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock /tmp/mysql.sock
