I am not sure if this has been done for TF2 I know it has been done through CSS but I believe it was done sadly through ES (Event scripts) I had it on my old server. It allows a player when they join to basically add the clan tag to the player. This does not show up in the player boards (tab key). I was wondering if there was anything like this for TF2 that has been done.

This automatically adds a tag to players in a specific group in a server. It also changes colors of the tag according to color.inc.

Like you said, this also doesn't show the tag in scoreboard...I think
