Hello! i want know how to install a file

It's say' s that i have to do this commands (in hlds_run directory)

sh hlshield2-install.sh
But look this is my hlds_run directory It's only a FTP.. Panel.. Where i will add the commands??

You have to do it via the command line. Usually via SSH (I use PuTTY). If you don't have access to SSH then you can't do it that way.

I have the FTP Informations of my panel
i have to past the IP adress of my panel? to connect on PuTTY

It's not working! ... i looked tutorials ! i don't have access to SSH.. :'(

The only other method that I can think of (one that I would use) is to use another linux machine to execute the file then manually upload the files. However, depending on what the file is capable of doing I'm not sure it will work perfectly and you may need to "fix" things.

From what I read from other people on the forums is that nobody actually needs to install this because Steam already has this stuff fixed.

Ok fysks ! I install it on another linux machine
And it's give to me this file:
hlfirewall.pl
Now, how to execute it?? i have to add a line on server.cfg and do:
exec hlfirewall.pl ??
Please help me fyskis

No ! it's not fixed .... OMFG! the person have a file nammed: dos.exe
he open the cmd and write: C:/dos.exe xx.xx.xx.xx
and boom my server crash!

Please fysiks! i haver read that HL SHIELD FIX THIS PROBLEM SO ..

Edit the hlds_run and add this:
