Hi XAD,

Can you add a cvar to prevent server from uploading soundfiles?
I dont want that crap and when it joining a server takes to long, because of those soundfiles, I start looking for another server.

Your admin plugin is great.
Make a seperate plugin that let players choose for themselves if they want to download these files from the server! Just like that option to turn Quake sounds ON/OFF.

If there are more players that like this idea, then react on this topic so XAD thinx this is a good idead too!!

Hmm, are you sure you are running XADmin or StatsXS??

Non of my plugins have extra sound... StatsXS only present ingame kill/killer info. You need to find out the plugin with "Quake sounds" and request the change to the author...

You are right. I use your plugin and after your remark I looked closer

Another suggestion from Roger Devil:
Put cl_downloadfilter "nosounds" in your autoexec.cfg and no sounds will be downloaded any more
