TerraStats Logo: Public Request
It's almost time for me to make a simple website for the TerraStats project. I need a nice logo to go along with it. Creativity is appreciated. Try to include both an idea portraying TerraStats as well as Counter-Strike in some manner. Hand drawn stuff or CGI, doesn't matter.

The logo(s) will have to be released to public domain, as the project is GPL. Of course, credit given and artistic signatures allowed.

A few ideas which I was tossing around, but by no means at all limiting anyone to:
World/Globe/Earth,
Cstrike Logo,
Two Rifles Crossed like a coat of arms,
Artistic sketches of Terra from Final Fantasy 3,
Bean Sprout,
etc.

Logos can be linked here some how or emailed to me via SourceForge.

This is in the works as we speak.

I'm not sure if KX has mentioned this in any of his other previous posts, but, Terrastats will work like this.

Terrastats consists of 3 parts;

Local Server In Game Plugin - What is avaliable Now

Local Webbased Statistics - Will be able to view player stats and rankings via your internet browser. Will show a load of statistics, much more then the in game portion shows.

World Stats Hub - All stats that are gathered from servers running our stats package will be sent and compiled here automatically, so players can view their rankings and stats on ALL servers that run the Terrastats package.

As of now, the development of the In Game Server Plugin is still on going, as well as the Local Stats. Once these 2 are finished, we will move on to the World Stats.

The bean sprout sort of reminded me of plant-life / growth / fertility => Terra for some reason.

No matter which one we decide to use as the official at any given point, we'll be hosting everyone's logo on the website.

Correction / followup on Willow's Global Hub thing:

The global hub will network a group of local hubs. Local hubs being just a single stats website for a single server. Global hubs will group stats for players across multiple servers. Global hubs could also, for example, be used by a clan league to represent only the servers in that league. Another use might be for a tournament that wants to report statistics as it procedes among several designated servers.

GlobalStats will just be our own global hub meant to include any terrastats server.
