do me a favor and try to do this.
When u turn ur server on. Change a map once and see if the menu works.

i know its not wc3.. and maybe a bit out there.. but would it be possible to implement an item menu that works off the same principles as the superhero plugins (add/remove to plugins.ini, cvar config'able).. after playing so much uwc3, immunities are a great idea that i think sh could benefit from (most heros are immune to summat lol)...

Adding a function similar to shCreateHero() allowing us (hero makers) to add an item to the itemlist, and then reuse code within the same plugin to add in immunities / dupe effects for items (zeus/respawn self item/respawn team member item/item to prevent ppl being ressurected if shot by you).

Because its plug and play like the heros, if a server admin doesnt like an item, it can be disabled...

imho, items are useless on shmod. it would be just another type of hero, which u don't need to level for, but to pay. in wc3mod it's different, cuz there are classes of skills. so the items are like another class of skills, class 0. accesible to everyone. in shmod ... all heroes are accesible (there's no restriction). so items could just be heroes (and don't forget, paying for things is broken when u have bill_gates)

i disagree. item shop would make sh mod more user friendly to new players on the server, it doesnt have to be items like no footsteps, but like +50hp +100ap +1explodingshot -visibility and other defualts, maybe +1 bullet per clip, maybe +damage. these arent really heros but would make it more enjoyable i think.

my request is that POD BOTs are able to choose heros at random

no offense, but shmod is fine without items. all servers should have level 1/2 heroes with small health bonuses and such. items would just be an unnecessary complication.

well u dont have to use it as it is an addon plugin. im not adding any extra stuff to module. stuff like mercy XP and this thing can easily be coded as an addon
