"Amx Mod X Moderator" already exists: https://forums.alliedmods.net/showgroups.php
People can post when they want, there is no need for a scripter rank. Also, what would be the difference from an approver, speaking in terms of knowledges? You can't just draw a line and say "hey, you know enough for scripter, but not for approver".
Anyway, I know from where you get this ideea.

There is a group, but there aren't any active members in it. Also, some of the most important requirements for a moderator are the ability to make the right decision in a more or less complicated situation, the ability to stay calm at all times and of course, being able to assess whether a topic should be moved, a comment should be deleted, etc.

It is more than urgent that new moderators should be "hired". I'm personally tired of seeing a bunch of topics named "help" every day, as well as "up" and "bump" posts. Not to mention the constant posting of Source-related topics. Hence, I even think that it would be helpful if the section titles would be changes as well, i.e. adding something like "AMXX only", since people tend to read only the current section's name and ignore the previous ones.

My main concern is 11 pages of submitted plugins (often, 0 replies)

@Hamlet

If Moderator already exists, then maybe a Sub-Moderator

And yes, we can draw the line between Approver and Scripter, Scripters don't require that high amount of knowledge as the Approvers... this will also motivate people to offer more help in the help related sections

I don't still get the Scripter rank. Everyone can help, there's no need for distinction, and there has never been a need. I don't know how having "Scripter" by your name can motivate you to help.

Ok, tell how you will evaluate the ammount of knowledges for that. At which point someone knows enough for receiving this rank?
Also, as Klippy said, how is this going to motivate someone to help?

What would be the purpose of a sub-moderator?

I agree that we need more active moderators and approvers, but you can't force people to apply. If anyone is interested, they know what they have to do.

The biggest point that is being neglected in this topic is that, what change would a new title make?

People who want to help have all the power needed. I would love to see more activity in the section, but lets be honest. There are hardly any new plugins being submitted. Innovation is scarse, and the approvers we have right now can easily deal with the workload.
