i just installed it and now CSS wont launch!!!!!!

I have tryed deleting the cstike folder that didnt work
i tryed reintalling steam and used a steam backup that didnt work
i now can only start it by forcing it to lunch in full screen or windowed mode

Not sure what your problem is. If you deleted the counter-strike source/cstrike folder, then Steam would have reinstalled the default files so metamod isn't even loading. Don't think it could be an issue with metamod.

I installed CSS. Followed the metamod intstructions exactly.

Then when I went to load it, it kept giving me that failed to load library dll error.

When I took the metamod line out of the gameinfo.txt file, CSS loaded fine. :-/

OMG it worked u need to set up all the cssdm stuff first before u run lyk the ini files and shit but it really works thanx

Hey i downloaded the listen server package and I installed it and everything worked fine. The only concern I had is every time I try to change the map the server shuts down. Is there anything i can do to change maps without shutting down the server?

Sounds like u removed the GameBin line that was already there ?
