Hand Switch Fix
Version 0.1 | ALL Modifications


Description
Sometimes when you minimize your game to check something in your browser or folder, the HL Engine will switch your playing hand from your default to the opposite. With this plugin, you can type a simple command in chat to reverse the bug.


Cvars
amx_hsf_enable - Enable or disable the use of this plugin.
Default: 1

amx_hsf_message - Determine whether the message is displayed when a player switches.
Default: 1

amx_hsf_advertise - Enable or disable advertising the use of this plugin.
Default: 1

There is a default command +commandmenu which is binded to H by default which will give you a menu to change it. Not sure if the plugin is really needed.

I found that out a couple minutes ago. I plan to detect when the cl_righthand command is used and then have a a menu display saying "Are you sure you want to change your playing hand?" "Yes" "No". If no, the hand switches back to default.

This problem is in the client so you will never be able to hook it and handle it automatically. So, forget making a plugin for it.

Thank you joaquimandrade, you just saved me another 30 minutes of attempting. I tried at least six different ways to hook it and none of them worked as expected.

I suppose it was my stupid idea to create this, now it can be an approvers great idea to unapprove it.
