Have you tried setting sm_adv_admin_vision to 1 (admins) or 0 (disabled)?

I'm having this issue on my HL2DM server. The only messages that post twice are those sent by players who are dead. Once they respawn chat messages post correctly again.

Any ideas what could cause this? I haven't heard of Event Scripts, so unless Gameservers.com installs it automatically, I do not have it.
