Follow the same process, except specify you are asking to be a Moderator instead of an Approver.

You shouldn't need to be a good coder to be a Moderator, only an Approver, since you would be reviewing plugins and as a Moderator you would be reviewing posts such as rule breaking and posts in the wrong section.
For vouchers, you would need other Moderators to vouch for you. Unsure if an Approver would be a valid voucher for becoming a Moderator.

I think I'll actually give it a try in the future. I've been around for quite some time now and learnt a lot of things and I believe I have the required amount of knowledge needed to become an approver.

I've released one decently large plugin already: https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=209660 - however it received far less attention than I expected. I'll make another one soon I guess.
