Anyone else actually using this and displaying results? This plugin has altered the map rotation on all of our server for the better; when combined with reweight. Here are our results, please share yours!

Ya I have this on just about all my TF2 servers. Right now i'm running 19 servers for TF2 and this plugin provides me with crucial information on what the general public likes and dislikes. As soon as I installed it I noticed players telling one that other how they "love the new map rate system" etc..

Keep up the good work

unfortunately I just dumped my database last weekend so I'm just under 5,000 votes

As many before i got the error:
PHP Code:
[maprate.smxError establishing database connection: [2002]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)
[maprate.smx] FATAL: An error occurred while connecting to the database.
The database.cfg was correctly setup and i was able to connect to the localhost through the bash console.
First I thought the problem is the plugin so i read nearly the whole thread without getting any answer. Instead i read many have the same problem.
Reading that some people dont have the problem let me think that the problem is the os i am running.

I looked in the /tmp/ folder and saw nothing!
The reason is that some OS have the mysql.sock stored in
/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock

So I set a system link:
ln -s /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock /tmp/mysql.sock

Reloaded the plugin and saw it work.
In the sourcefile of the plugin there is no information stored to the .sock. I guess it is a sourcemod Problem, cause i was unable to use mysql with any sourcemod function until i set up this link.

I hope this post will help everyone to get their plugins working.
