There are high and big zombie models that when you shoot them at head, you don't make any damage, because the bullets just pass through the model, without damaging the zombie.

Take models such as "boomer zombie", "fat zombie" as examples. See the photo attached. This is the model of "fat zombie".

The zombie_source.mdl's head is exactly at the level of the fat zombie's boobs. The zombie_source.mdl's sizes are exactly the same as the sizes of humans (terrorists and counter-terrorists) in classic CS 1.6 servers.

If the basic human model is 2 meters high, but the custom zombie model is 3 meters high, in order to shoot the zombie at the head, you will have to shoot 1 meter lower than the level of the head of the custom zombie model.

For example, the Fat Zombie is bigger and higher than the zombie_source.mdl, which has the same size as humans. So, if you want to shoot the Fat Zombie at the head, you actually have to shoot it at the center of its boobs (chest) because this is the location where the hitzone of the head actually is. If you shoot at higher level, if you point the gun at the level of the head of the Fat Zombie, and you shoot, the bullets will just pass through the model, without making any damage.

Is there a way to fix that? Is there a way to make the hitzone of the head to be placed at the level where the actual head of the Big zombie model is, not at the level of the boobs (chest) where the head of normal-sized models is placed.

Sorry for bad english. I hope you understand me.

if you are talking about ZP, in zombieplague.cfg have this
Code:
; If you want your models to use custom hitboxes, try enabling this.
; Note: make sure your models have the right hitboxes for CS to use,
; otherwise this setting might cause your server insane cpu usage and lag!
SET MODELINDEX OFFSET = 0
Turn this to 1 and it should work. The server is much stronger than when this warning was wrote I think we don't need to worry about it now.
