So players playing on a server that is located far away (example: US player on an EU server) would normally have delay after entering a teleporter, or hit a triggerpush of sorts.

Would this make it feel snappier, more instant?

Similar to how valve added clientsided autobhop compared to the server sided laggy bhop plugins (CS:GO)?
Only moving entities are compensated, not static ones.

This plugin does server side lag compensation.
What you are talking about is client side prediction.

It syncs the server world view with the clients world view.
So if a client hits a moving physbox on their screen, they do it on the server too.
If the client jumps over a moving trigger, they do it on the server too.

This video explains it pretty much perfect: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EwaW2iz4iA

Thanks a lot for reaching the goal so quickly, I've released all the missing windows stuff and also updated the LagCompensation.smx.

Seems like I've gotten a new bug in before releasing it, where if OnClientPutInServer is called after OnClientCookiesCached it will overwrite the users "lagcomp off" setting to on again without them noticing.

So if you are running version 1.0 please update to 1.0.1.

Could you please add a cvar to enable or disable by default?

Its enabled by default for all players currently

It's causing a lot of lag and console spam on maps with a lot of lasers/entities like Misaka.

You can blacklist the entities which are getting spammed by the map using stripper and spawnflags as mentioned in the OP.
You probably don't want to disable it for the entire map.
And if you really do then you can just unload the plugin lol.

Thats not what I mean. Most players are low ping and dont want lag compensation, but its enabled by default for all clients and they need to use !lagcomp to turn it off. I simply want it the other way around where players who want it can turn it on with !0ping

You can always modify the .sp file and change what you want. Is not that hard
Edit: just realized that the new .sp wasn't uploaded lol

Also not sure if its just us but the cookies aren't created in clientperfs that save if client turns it on/off.
